Who Will Save Us?

People all over the world are sick and tired of the pandemic. In the western world many of them want to go back to the comfortable life they had before the pandemic. Therefore, they have put their trust in “the science”. This involves social distancing, lock downs, wearing masks, and to top it all off, injections of experimental vaccines. Here is the rhetoric of people throughout our society: Who will save us? Who will save us? W.H.O. will save us. Scientists will save us. Doctors will save us. Our governments will save us. The VACCINES will save us. Once we all get vaccinated, we can all get back to a normal life. My question to them is: What about God? I believe their answer is: “trust the science”, and “we can beat this”, and “all of us must be vaccinated”. Christians and non-Christians all reply the same way. Is God in the solution they have come up with? When there is an alternative viewpoint to what God says, does God censor it? He did not censor Satan. Satan is free to travel the world and inject lies into people’s minds. Satan censors people. He is now working to censor parts of the Bible which are considered “politically incorrect”.

Getting back to the pandemic, Christians are working hard to promote “the science” in this pandemic. Doctors, scientists, government officials, and various other concerned citizens who believe in other ways to deal with the pandemic are labeled as conspiracy theorists, rebels, ignoramuses, and nut cases. Scientists, doctors, and other medical professionals who have spoken out against the current methods of dealing with the pandemic have been fired, had their licenses to practice removed, shut out of social media, and even had lies printed about them in the press. Is this the way God operates? Is God in this whole movement that Christians are supporting?

I am not an anti-vaxxer. I have received many vaccines. For the last fifteen years I have received the flu vaccine every year and I have been vaccinated for other illnesses, such as pneumonia and shingles. However, I believe there is something not right in this Covid-19 vaccine roll out. Recently I have been following the theory presented by Dr. Geert Vanden Bossche, a Belgian scientist who has worked on vaccine research most of his professional life. He claims that we are only at the beginning of the pandemic and that the current plans for pandemic control will fail. In fact, he says we are doing the exact opposite of what we should be doing and he is predicting a possible global catastrophe once the variant strains of the virus start sweeping the planet. He attributes the rise of variant strains of the virus to vaccinating asymptomatic carriers of the disease. In other words, if you vaccinate young people that have the virus but don’t know it because they don’t show any symptoms, you run the risk of creating variant strains of the virus within their bodies. Then, without knowing it, they pass on the variant strains to others. Dr. Vanden Bossche is not the only person with this theory, and I came across a doctor on the internet who said the same thing last year. Many doctors have criticized their governments for the current lock downs and for ignoring the need for prevention and early treatment of the disease. Over forty thousand doctors have signed the Great Barrington Declaration in an effort to protest the current practices of governments in dealing with the pandemic. Dr. Peter A. Based on what I have read and listened to on the internet, I do not believe we have solved the problem of this pandemic. Like Dr. Vanden Bossche I believe we are only at the beginning of this pandemic and the worst is yet to come. He does not predict when the disaster will happen, but other doctors have predicted it will be at the end of this year that the variant strains will start moving through the population. Some doctors have predicted that governments will do more of what they have been trying: more lock downs, more social distancing, more face masks, more vaccination. This may result in the biggest medical failure in the history of the world. We may come to the point where no human beings on the planet can save us. Who will save us? Only the Lord God Almighty. “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14.
