Trust God
The time in which we now live is a very troubling time, and the faith of many has faltered, but in the midst of all the fear and darkness I want to encourage you to trust God. Look for Him in all things. He is there, and He won’t be hard to find. He is the bright and shining light that dispels the darkness as we focus our eyes upon Him.
Turn your eyes upon Jesus
Look full in His wonderful face
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace.
Whatever is going on, I assure you we have nothing to fear and we have no occasion to doubt. We are the people of God and He has promised us that He would be with us always. “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10
Dear reader, do you believe it?
Many look at the situation in the world and feel like it is impossible. They have become disheartened and have given up. They say the enemy is too big and we are too small and insignificant.
O people of God, take courage! Have faith! Our hope is not in man who will always disappoint; our hope is in God through our Lord Jesus Christ! He is our Commander in Chief and we are battling a defeated foe!
Let not your hearts be troubled! The Lord Jesus Christ is our Shepherd, and we are the sheep of His pasture, and He has laid down His life for us! Having laid down His life for us, how will He not also see us through this dark and evil day? We need only TRUST HIM! “Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.” Psalms 42:5
In the 20th Chapter of Second Chronicles, a great host came against Jehoshaphat, King of Judah, and the entire congregation was struck with fear. But the people of Judah went before the Lord and He told them not to worry, that the battle was His. Jehoshaphat told the people to trust God and they would be established. “Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you.” 2 Chronicles 20:17
Jehoshaphat went out to meet the invading army, and as he did, he sent men ahead of the army, singing and praising the splendor and glory of God!
That day Jehoshaphat and all of Judah watched as the invading armies destroyed each another! They did not have to raise a single weapon! God moved in their praise and gave them the victory!
This is why the enemy does not want us to gather together for worship. The enemy knows that when we get together as one and worship God, he has no chance! But I encourage the pastors in Israel to OPEN UP the doors of your churches and tell your people to take the masks off and sing loud and long praises to our great God! Do it and just see what happens! “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15
I exhort you this day to choose and serve the Lord Jesus Christ! Praise Him! Trust Him! He will never fail you or forsake you!
