Those Who Reign

Christmas is a happy time to celebrate the birth of a baby. Everybody loves the story of the birth of the baby Jesus, but most people ignore the story of His death on the cross when He grew up. Likewise, most people ignore His Resurrection and coming kingdom. He deserved to be worshipped throughout His mortal life and deserves our worship today.

The shepherds worshipped Him. “And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the Babe lying in a manger. And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child. And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds.” Luke 2:16-18. The shepherds became the first people to spread the gospel. Shepherds still worship him because we are the shepherds. If you are a Christian, you are a shepherd. You are to guide your fellow Israelites as a shepherd would guide the sheep and tell them about Jesus. We Christians are destined to rule in Christ’s kingdom as shepherds of His sheep. “If we suffer, we shall also reign with Him: if we deny Him, He also will deny us:” II Timothy 2:12. “Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.” Revelation 20:6. There is a wonderful kingdom coming soon, and He is preparing a body of shepherds to reign with Him to glorify His Israel.

The wise men, known as the Magi, worshipped the Christ child. The western church decided there were three wise men. They even gave them names: Balthasar, Melchior, and Casper. However, the eastern church believed there were twelve wise men. They were regarded as kings who came to worship the king of kings. Kings still worship Jesus Christ today, because we are the kings (and queens). “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;” I Peter 2: 9. If you are a Christian you are a child of God, and therefor you are royalty. Your father is God, who is ruler over all. “And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” Revelation 1:5-6.

When I name the male labels of our identity, I am not excluding the female labels. When I mention wise men, I include wise women. When I mention kings, I include queens. You Christians are shepherds. You are also wise men. You are kings. You are priests. You are sons of God. You are all saints. You will reign with Christ Jesus in His kingdom. You will inherit the earth. You will judge the fallen angels. You will be immortal. You will excel in power and knowledge. Make sure you are a Christian. It would be a tragedy if you appeared before Jesus Christ, and He told you He did not know you. We must come humbly before God and ask for His forgiveness by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross. We must ask Him to send the Holy Spirit to come into us and make us new people. We must be spiritually born again.

We Christian Israelites have a grave responsibility. We are the shepherds of our people. It is our duty to call our people to obey the ten Commandments and to exclude all foreign gods from our Israel nations. We alone have the power and authority to hold back the power of Satan and his demons in our Israel nations. How are we doing? Are we winning the battle in the U.S.A., in Canada, in the U.K., and other Israel nations? “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12. I believe we must confess to God that we have failed him and humbly seek his forgiveness.

National repentance must begin with us!
