The Mind of God
We need to have correct thinking to judge everything that we are facing in the world today. Correct thinking comes from God. We are not capable of correct thinking on our own because we do not know everything. Only God has correct thinking, and he has revealed some of his thoughts to us by his Spirit and his Word (the Bible). “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9.
When God sent the Holy Spirit after Jesus ascended into heaven, Christians had access to the mind of God and entered into close communion with their Creator. “For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.” 1 Corinthians 2:16. Today, many Christians have knowledge of the mind of God and understand many things that he has instructed them in. However, I believe there is one topic which most of them do not understand and I believe it is very important for understanding the mind of God. It is the understanding of God’s love for Israel.
We in the Israel truth movement believe the Anglo-Saxon and kindred people are descendants of the lost tribes of Israel. In history the Assyrians defeated the ten tribes of Israel and removed them from their land. “In the ninth year of Hoshea the king of Assyria took Samaria, and carried Israel away into Assyria, and placed them in Halah and in Habor by the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes.” 2 Kings 17:6. Later the Assyrians returned and took most of the people from the remaining two tribes and removed them as well. “Now in the fourteenth year of king Hezekiah did Sennacherib king of Assyria come up against all the fenced cities of Judah, and took them.” 2 Kings 18:13. Therefore most of the Israelites were gone from their land. We in the Israel truth movement believe most of those Israelites taken by the Assyrians eventually left the lands of their exile, crossed the Caucasus Mountains, and made their way across northern Europe as barbarian tribes to eventually settle in northwestern Europe and the British Isles. Later, they expanded into North America, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and other regions. The question is: What is the mind of God toward those Anglo-Saxon and kindred people?
God loved Israel from the beginning. “The Lord did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people: But because the Lord loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the Lord brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.” Deuteronomy 7:7-8. God never stopped loving Israel, even after they were removed from their land. “The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee. Again I will build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin of Israel: thou shalt again be adorned with thy tabrets, and shalt go forth in the dances of them that make merry.” Jeremiah 31:3-4. God had plans for Israel to expand and eventually take the Gospel all over the world. He allowed them to be taken captive by the Assyrians but had plans for them to eventually move west and establish powerful Christian nations.
Recently I heard some Christians on an internet video say they will no longer pray for America because America is lost. They will only pray for the Christians in America. God never gave up on Israelites just because they were lost. He still loved them and still had wonderful plans for them. We must have the mind of God in loving his people Israel. The Anglo-Saxon and kindred people will survive and thrive in the millennial rule of Jesus Christ. “He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit.” Isaiah 27:6.
My belief is that after the Lord removes the wicked ones from our nations, our people will turn to God and follow Jesus Christ their shepherd.
