Project Hope Overcomes Project Fear
There was a growing conviction among those who were aware of the Kingdom identity of the United Kingdom that the day had finally arrived on 23 June, 2016, for the Exodus from bondage in the prophetic Egypt of the European Union. In the event ‘Brexit,’ as it was termed, took place to the great surprise of the political and financial world, the reverberations of which are being likened, significantly, to an earthquake.
The future of the ‘city’ of the European Union is now being brought into question. It is being said that the Brits have become the canaries in the coal mine, offering Europe, America and the developed world a glimpse of what is coming in the US elections later this year. There are already reports that members of the original British Commonwealth, like Australia and New Zealand, are competing to be first to achieve new trade deals with Britain.
What follows over the next two years are extremely complex negotiations between Britain and her soon-to-be-erstwhile EU partners. The rest of Europe – the entire world, in fact – is watching. Brexit could alter the course of the entire ‘European project.’ What is also very apparent is that Britain has far more bargaining power than those who campaigned for the Remain side have so far allowed themselves to admit.
Life is returning to the dead body of the Realm, just as Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has reached the age of ninety and as the longest reigning monarch, nine being the number of finality and judgment. The Apocalyptic vision in Revelation 11 records that the Two Witnesses, significant of Church and State, unexpectedly resurrect from a death-like state as “the spirit of life from God entered into them.”
It also speaks of a great earthquake taking place “in the same hour” in which the city falls. The future of the ‘city’ of the European Union is now being brought into question and there is a real prospect that other Kingdom nations may follow Britain out the EU, particularly as confidence in the European Central Bank in keeping the eurozone afloat drains away.
Britons need to hold their nerve. Brexit will be good for Britain and the rest of the EU as well. The good news, prophetically speaking, is that life is returning to the dead body of the Realm. Renewal and resurrection for the true Israel of God in the world is happening now.
The date of 31 October, 2017, will mark the 500th anniversary of Reformation Day. It was when Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the door of the castle church at Wittenberg, which sparked the Protestant Reformation throughout Europe. This will be 10 x 50 years – a period of Divine order of the jubilee cycle. The political seismic event of Brexit will surely confirm in the days ahead that Project Hope has indeed overcome Project Fear?
“This is the Lord’s doing and it is marvelous in our eyes” (Psalm 118:23).
