No More Poverty, Disease, And War! A Glimpse of Our Coming New Order

Many years ago a very practical plan was put into experimental operation, designed for the purpose of leading all men and all nations out of poverty and distress into permanent peace and an “ABUNDANCE OF EVERY GOOD THING.” It was not a product of human brains, but of Divine Wisdom, given to a special race which God chose to be His instrument, through which the example of a Utopian earthly order might be made manifest to all nations and all peoples: but this example would be achieved only by obedience to a perfect code of individual and national Law, a Law which guaranteed not only rich Spiritual blessing, but also a perfect social economy for the nation, with abolishment of WAR (Lev. 26: 6) and of POVERTY (Deut. 15:4), and even immunity from “ALL SICKNESS”! (read Deut. 7: 6-15, Deut. 28, and Lev. 26). Such riches of God’s goodness have been forfeited through disobedience, but are still to be had TO-DAY for the asking (Heb. 8:8-11, etc.), and His Earthly Kingdom is yet to be established. We pray for it daily, saying: “Thy will be done on earth.” [as in heaven – A prayer for a pure and perfect world without sin or sickness]

The Divine Law, outlined above, embraces not only the “Ten Commandments,” but also the following *Statutes: [national law]

All LAND to be Divinely owned (God is the only Landlord) and apportioned equitably by Christian State executors on permanent leasehold rent free to the individuals without respect of persons (Lev. 25:23, etc.)

The Law will provide HOUSES for all. Slum property to be cleared (Isaiah 65:21,22; Lev. 14:33-45)

No compulsory INCOME TAX: one-tenth of incomes to be given of free will, as unto God (Num. 18:21, Deut. 16:10, Mal. 3:6-12, Prov.28:8,9). This should prove adequate for every need in a properly conducted State.

Every “Seventh year” all DEBTS [Within the nation or race] are to be cancelled (Deut. 15:1-10). No money or goods ever to be lent on interest (Lev. 25:37, Deut. 23:19,20, Neh. 5:7,10). Bank loans should be issued by the Treasury interest-free.

All AGRICULTURAL LAND must lie fallow and rest every “Seventh year” (Lev. 25: 3,4).

Divine FOOD-LAWS to be kept (Lev. 11, Deut. 14). Animals to be properly killed for food. The eating of “Blood” is a great cause of disease (Lev. 7: 26,27, Lev. 17:13). The “Swine” also is pronounced harmful (Lev. 11:7). A plentiful supply of food guaranteed (Lev. 26:5,6).

All WIDOWS and the FATHERLESS to be provided for. (Deut. 10:17-20. Ex. 22:22-25).

N.B.—The Lord commanded us to do all these Statutes FOR OUR GOOD ALWAYS” (Deut. 6:24). We cannot hope, however, for eternal life by keeping these laws. If we could, then Christ’s death was needless and in vain: but we can alleviate immense suffering and want through them. In the rapidly-approaching Millennium Age. Jesus Christ will reign on earth, enforce His Father’s Law, vindicating it and proving God’s bounty.
