New Years Thoughts 2021

Let our light shine
The year 2020 witnessed a unique moment in all our lifetimes, a pandemic, or so it has been called. The main casualty in all of the lockdowns has been the business world economy, which brings the prophetic Scripture in Zechariah 1:11 to our mind: “Behold, all the earth sitteth still, and is at rest.” Is the lack of jubilee release since 27 July 1694, when the Bank of England was established, now being brought home to the nation by the Lord and to the West as a whole? For our part we published the truth that “The Kingdom Message alone can save the Nations,” which is the hope of the many nations of Israel amid the world in increasing and great distress.
Will politico-economic history repeat itself in Europe and America? Late October 2021 will mark 390 years (Ten Tribes trouble) since billions of pounds of Spanish gold and silver sank in a Caribbean storm aboard the Spanish galleon Our Lady of Juncal. The economic scar of the Covid-19 pandemic will not easily pass in 2021. The debts racked up as governments have sought to cushion its effects will remain facts of economic life for the foreseeable future as the final prophetic judgment comes to economic Babylon.
Together in 2021, the United Kingdom and the United States of America are entering new and unchartered waters. The UK is breaking free from the European Union in respect of trade and restoring our close trade links with the great company of covenant nations This comes 70 years after the 1951 Festival of Britain, which are the number of years determined for the rebuilding of the walls of our ‘New Jerusalem’ (Daniel 9:24). It is also 170 years from 1851 and The Great Exhibition of 1851, significant of the perfection of spiritual order for Ephraim-Britain.
Whereas, our brother ‘great nation,’ the Manasseh-United States of America, is going through a constitutional crisis over the contested result of the 2020 presidential election, exactly 153 years – the number of The Elect – from the U.S. Electoral Count Act 1867. The evidence from the past four years is that Donald Trump is a prophetic Samson (the 13th and last judge in ancient Israel) whose strength was renewed that has been raised up to destroy the false and revolutionary forces seeking to destroy the “great nation.”
In 2021, let us uphold the Faith and so let our light shine!

Hedge of Protection
As we usher out 2020 with good riddance and anticipate 2021 and what it will bring, we look back at a year that we would all rather forget. We are also led to wonder what awaits us in the upcoming year. Last year I asked if 2020 could be worse than 2019. I think the answer is self-evident, and I will not ask that question again this year. While we cannot say whether this virus was God caused or God allowed, we do know that God will use the virus to fulfill his purpose. We can rest and leave the future in God’s hands and rely on his hedge of protection around his people Israel, individually and nationally.
May God bless and protect each and every one of you in 2021.

Revoking Religious Rights?
All signs seem to point to continuing turmoil in the months ahead. Will the Covid China Virus be terminated soon? An article in our daily newspaper said that a vaccine will not stem the epidemic unless at least 70% of the population is inoculated, but surveys say that about 50% of the public will refuse to take it. Will a new Democratic-Socialist regime in power in Washington curtail rights and liberties in the name of fighting the pandemic, if so, it may be an unsettling and turbulent year. Of particular concern to Christian Americans, President-Elect Biden has promised to revoke the religious rights law passed by Republicans a few years ago. Let us keep the nations of Christendom in prayer for God’s protection and guidance. In addition, it is time to redouble our efforts to proclaim Christ and awaken our people to God’s covenants and the responsibilities they entail.
Let us be about our Father’s business! We sincerely wish our readers a safe and productive new year!

God is in control
Hurray! 2021 is here — we made it thru the ups and downs of 2020.
Looking back to 2020, there was much to be thankful for in that turbulent year. Consider what God has done for you in 2020 and turn to Ecclesiastes 7:14 (NIV) When times are good be happy; but when times are bad, consider: God has made the one as well as the other. Therefore, a man cannot discover anything about his future.
Do not be like those who take credit for the good times and blame God for the bad times, for God is in control and will bring good results out of tough times.
As for further 2021 wisdom, Solomon says in Ecclesiastes 7:10 (NIV) Do not say, “Why were the old days better than these?” For it is not wise to ask such questions.
And why, don’t look back but look forward as to the blessings that God gives you today and do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Yes, the worries of 2020 were very troublesome for those who were consumed by fear and many found it difficult to trust in God. Take heed, for God is in control and will near leave you nor forsake you.
My motto for 2021 is: Do not let worries about tomorrow affect your relationship with God today.
May you bless God in all that you do and all that you say.

He will surely come
In looking to the unfolding of 2020, I wrote, “I am in high hopes that 2020 will somehow see a more perfect knowledge of the Word of God and where the Gospels of the Kingdom and Salvation will blend with news of the Israel Truth to lighten the path of our people, wherever they tread”. Yet, it has been quite the opposite; the divisions, even in our Israel World, have actually widened, as the attack upon Christians and Christianity has intensified throughout the world. When you think that in Canada alone, some 9,000 churches are projected to close in the next ten years or that from the early 1980’s less and less Canadians are attending church services, then you get an idea that Man’s System has the upper hand on God’s System at this particular time.
2020 was not a very pleasant year and I wish I could be less negative about prospects for 2021. Yet, all the signs suggest to me that the Israel World will face great economic difficulties, more pandemic fallout, greater hardship on the working class and further ruin on our nations brought about by socialism, no longer creeping but in full speed. Still, make no mistake about it, God is still in charge and His Plan is unfolding exactly as He chooses. I like the way the prophet Habakkuk described it with his vision, “though it tarry, wait for it, because it will surely come”. And so, will Jesus! Therefore, readers, my prayer is that we continue to look upward.
In the meantime, our magazine continues to be published and dispatched monthly and we are in high hopes that it brings much hope to readers around the world. Our website is also a source of much enlightenment and we encourage you to view it often, for it changes monthly.
