Israel First

During his earthly ministry the Lord traveled far north of the region of Galilee and there he met a woman who begged him to heal her daughter. “And from thence he arose, and went into the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and entered into an house, and would have no man know it: but he could not be hid. For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet: The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter. But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it unto the dogs. And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children’s crumbs. And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter.” Mark 7:24-29. I believe Jesus was proclaiming a prophecy by the words he said to her.

He said, “Let the children first be filled:” and I believe this happened twice in history and will happen again. The children are the Israelites. “I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.” Psalm 82:6. The Gospel was first given to the Israelites who followed Jesus and then they took it out into the world. “Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.” Luke 24:45-47. In the Israel Truth movement, we believe this spreading of the Gospel was mainly for the benefit of the lost tribes of Israel, though many people benefited from it. After this first wave of blessing, which started with Israelites, there was a second wave of blessing which came first upon the lost tribes of Israel.

This second wave of blessing was the Reformation. “Let the children first be filled.” The blessing of the Reformation came first upon the people of the British Isles and northwestern Europe. Those were the areas where the lost tribes of Israel were mostly located. “And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire: And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth, And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.” Revelation 10:1-3. This was the mighty angel of the Reformation. The little book, which I believe was the New Testament, was given first to Israel and then went out into all the world. The Reformation has resulted in millions of people being born again of God’s Spirit. This second blessing was tremendous, but I believe the third wave of blessing will be much greater and will turn the whole world to the worship of Jesus Christ.

It will begin with the children of Israel when they are cleansed of evil influences. “The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.” Matthew 13:41-43. The revival in the coming days will be greater than any revival of the past. “But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.” Jeremiah 31:33-34. Christian Israel shall bless the whole world under the reign of Jesus Christ. “He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit.” Isaiah 27:6. “Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.” Hosea 1:10. The Bible is full of blessings for Israel in the kingdom age. I believe the blessings will be many times greater than the blessings of Pentecost or the Reformation. The finality of the story will be the reign of Jesus Christ over everything. “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:9-11. “And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.” Revelation 11:15.

This old world is a mess despite the blessings of Pentecost and the Reformation. We need something more, and that something more will be the return of Jesus Christ to reign in righteousness. We have failed to bring the whole world under the ruler-ship of God the Father. Satan is in power now by his lies and deception. The truth will set the world free, and we believe part of that truth is Israel truth. Who are the children of Israel who will bless the world and help bring it under the control of Jesus Christ? We believe they are the Anglo-Saxon and kindred peoples. “Let the children first be filled.” I believe this means our people will be the first to receive the third blessing of the Spirit before the Lord extends his kingdom to every part of the world. Do not despair.
