God’s Plan Unfolding Very Rapidly

When you read the articles submitted by our correspondents from Canada, America and the United Kingdom, there is a sense that God’s Plan is unfolding very rapidly now and soon all the evil forces will be lining up for the one last chance to make the world exclusively their own. What to do! “What to do,” ask many of our readers who write or telephone for advice. Well, for the individual, it’s simple, just as I wrote in my accompanying article in this month’s issue, “Can you hear it falling?”, the safe place to hide is, of course, to be under the ‘Blood of Christ”. This is really what Isaiah 26:20 is saying because verse 21 warns of the return of Christ to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity. And Psalm 91:1 makes it even clearer, “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Allmighty”. Of course, the safe place is the Gospel, or good mews, of personal salvation, as Eph. 2:8-9 tells us, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, least any man should boast.”

But, what about the Israel nations? As we wrote before, we must collectively go to our knees, humble ourselves and seek His face to bring about His saving our lands and nations. [See 2 Chron. 7:14 and Hosea 5:1] And as Howard Rand wrote over fifty years ago, “the law of the Lord is an integral part of the Gospel of the Kingdom so, until the [Israel] nations restores the administration of this Law in its entirety, every one of the citizens will suffer from the evils of maladministration”. That “both those who have come under the Blood of Christ and those who have not, are deprived of what is justly their’s, if our nations were under proper administration of the Laws of God”. Well, this is where we are today and why the evil forces are continually bringing our people under subjection. We can only pray that the humbling will soon be upon our nation’s people.
