Freedom to Chains to Freedom

Freedom to Chains! To Freedom! I confess that I borrowed a part of this title from Paul Harvey, an American radio broadcaster whose weekly radio segments reached as many as 24 million people per week. If you have not heard of him, you might like to go to your Internet to listen to his “The Rest of the Story” segments. Just reading “Freedom to chains”, that he broadcast in 1965, you will conclude that this man was prophetic, because listening to his words, they describe almost exactly what we are experiencing today in the Anglo-Saxon nations, particularly in America. I encourage you to listen to his tape. As he prophetically described the “Collapse of the American Empire”, I couldn’t help but reflect on his words, “We get what we deserve”.

Now, I am impressed that Paul Harvey was almost able to predict current events from 1965 but I’m even more impressed that the prophet Ezekiel, more than 2,800 year ago, spelled them out as well.   You might recall that our Bible Study Group, in our October 2022 issue, correctly interpreted Ezekiel 38:8-13 as the prophet intended. Verses 11-12 are certainly worthy of re-mention once again, “And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates, To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land”. Well, even many commentators are now calling it for what it is, An invasion! Many millions of illegal immigrants from many different nations are flooding over the southern border, un-opposed and draining the resources of America, while creating havoc in the nation’s states and cities. And weak leadership seems unwilling to stem the tide of the many millions more perched on the border waiting to help themselves to the citizens’ wealth. It’s not just America, the homeland of Ephraim Britain has seen its population grow by eight million people, mostly eastern European and Muslim peoples in just two years.  The numbers for Canada and other Israel nations seem poised to experience great non-Christian growth as well. We have been truly invaded, and it appears that the Deep State, or Beast System, whether from our governments, large corporations, the false prophet media and so on, have put power, money, control, etc., is at the forefront of the invasions.

Still, no matter how dim it looks for True Israel, Ezekiel also revealed God’s judgment. As I wrote about Ezekiel 7 in the December 2022 issue, it is important to know that it is God Himself who is quoted and that it is the lands of Israel to whom He is addressing. And when He says, “the end is come”, He is not referring to the Christian populations but to this very same Beast system, which, sadly, does include many of Israel.  It’s astonishing, isn’t it, that those men and women of the Deep State are so wrapped up in money and power and so engrossed under the influence of Satan, that they have so little regard for the masses, liking them to plants in a garden that must be pruned from time to time. A la, De-population!  And Satan’s minions are constantly stirring the pot resulting in the verse 23 description of what it is like right now, “….. for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence”.

When troubles do erupt for the Deep State, they handle them in their long-established way. They employ money and influence to come to their rescue and it is in a rare case indeed that they are not successful. And so, they continue the Satanic plan of permitting the invasion to continue and confiscation of more of the Israel nations’ wealth, and freedoms. But not for much longer! Ezekiel relates a time when their power and money will not enable them to escape from the morass they initiated, and as verse 25 says, “(their) destruction cometh; and they will seek peace, and there shall be none”. I suppose if I was a member of the Deep State, I would take a long look at the situation and ask God what I would need to do to repent. And I would do it soon because time is really very short indeed.

But the question is “when”! That’s God’s decision, but from all signs, it won’t be much longer. I have often written about disaster in Fall, 2023, it being the end of the seventh prophetic hour and nothing I read suggests otherwise. An astute member of our Bible Study Group suggested I read Psalm 14 for the possible answer.  The Psalm consist of only seven verses so let’s review them: “The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the Lord. There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous. Ye have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the Lord is his refuge.Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the Lord bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

Almost a replay of Ezekiel 7, isn’t it? The Deep State, or thoughtless elite, lording it over God’s People! Is this happening these days? Indeed, they are doing abominable things, no regard for God, truly the Devil’s minions. But at some point, they are overtaken by great fear, sounds like Ezekiel 7:19, when they find that their great power and wealth will not do them any good, for God is looking after the righteous, preceding the release of His People. He is about the release the Generation of the Righteous. Could this occur at the end of the seventh prophetic hour, around fall of 2023? We certainly can’t say it will, but the clues are there. In thinking of the Deep State, we have to look at Revelation 17:19 which demonstrates that the great city, Babylon, is divided into three parts, i.e., economic, political and theological, and then Revelation 18:10 echoes Ezekiel 7, “Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come”. Interesting that one hour is equivalent to 15 days or 15 years. The latter being the length of the seventh prophetic hour that began in 2008 and ends in 2023.

So, hold on! 2023 promises to be a wild ride but a great finish.
