Changing Times, Precarious Moments
“…All they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.”
Matthew 26:52
“Choose you this day whom ye will serve….as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
History repeats itself. It is replete with nations with ambitious leaders taking up the sword and reaching pinnacles of power through conquest of other nations. Yet, at some point, these same nations have perished with the sword and ultimately faded into the pages of history. As we gaze throughout the centuries, we have the examples of Assyria, Babylon, Persia, Greece, Rome, Turkey, France under Napoleon, Germany, first under Kaiser William, then Hitler, Austria-Hungary under the Hapsburg Dynasty, Italy under Mussolini and the Japanese under its military rulers.
Since the end of World War II, we have seen the British Empire all but disintegrate, and Russia, which Bible students know was turned back when she lost her satellite countries, as prophesied by Ezekiel in Chapter 38:4.
And now, America, the great nation of Genesis 48:19, is beginning to crumble badly, a victim of curses meted out by God and recorded in Deuteronomy 28:15, which simply put, says, If you don’t observe the Laws of God, curses will come upon you.” Think of how the American political and economic apparatus has been hijacked and the weapon of debt thrust around the peoples’ necks and you will understand how God’s warning in Deuteronomy 28:43-44 has devastated the nation, “The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high and thou shalt come down very low. He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail.” The wars and the world-wide policing by America has her nearly bankrupt, only proving the words of Jesus Christ, “perish by the sword.”
For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.
On a new horizon different nations are standing by, ready to take the sword in their leap forward. A new strengthened Russia has emerged, still awaiting the hooks in her jaw to bring her forward again into battle as Ezekiel prophesied and while we were lulled to sleep by those who seem to want to destroy the strength of America, some are beginning to comprehend that a leopard never changes its spots, and that Russia has never lost her desire for conquest. Yet, an even greater nation has emerged so quickly over the past two decades and hardly anyone noticed, until their massive wealth and loans to America gave it a prominence and power never anticipated. This greater nation is China and it has become a military and economic giant, with a seemingly great thirst for conquest, obviously ready to take up the sword. Then, India too is becoming a giant among countries and the recent events in the Mid-East nations demonstrate their quick action in taking up the sword as well. What is common amongst all these powers is a total contempt for the Western Israel nations and for the Modern Israeli State, seen as a partner of the west.
It’s almost pathetic to witness the decline of the west and the rise of other nations and the seemingly inept leadership of our leaders verses theirs. A great World War II leader, Field Marshall Bernard Montgomery, once said, “let us remember when all these things are said and done the one great fact, the greatest fact, remains supreme and unassailable. It is this. There are in this world things that are true and things that are false; there are ways that are right and ways that are wrong, men good and bad. And on the one side or the other we must take our stand: one, or the other, we must serve. A great commander once dismissed his troops after a long campaign in these words: “Choose you this day whom ye will serve….as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
When it does, and the invasion of our lands begins, it won’t take any coaxing to see true Israelites fall to their knees.
We can look at the huge debt built up by the western nations and recognize God’s admonition, “The borrower is servant to the lender” and realize that as long as we are the “tail”, we will do the bidding of the lending nations. Remember, each month we go hat in hand to foreign nations, primarily China and Japan, seeking more money to pay interest and keep the day of reckoning from crashing upon us. It’s an awful way to live as any company with cash flow woes understands, as weakness rears its ugly head each time an asset is sold to keep things going. Still, a day of reckoning invariably arrives and when that day arrives for western nations, in America particularly, the pain will be totally severe. I recall reading an article two to three years ago when an investment company executive, Ian Gordon, was quoted as saying, “There is a fierce battle being waged against powerful forces. And Gordon argues that the weapon of choice – more debt – will only increase the pain in the day of reckoning.”
America is the largest component of the western economic engine and when it took up the weapon of choice, as Gordon called “debt”, its days were numbered. We can look at President Obama and castigate him for permitting an almost five trillion increase in America’s debt in just over two years, but we cannot overlook the part played by the two Bush’s and President Clinton. And while it is almost sacrilegious to say anything about President Ronald Reagan, the fact is that when he took office, America was the greatest creditor nation in the world and the greatest debtor nation when he left office. Are these leaders that naive or are the forces behind their administrations intentionally weakening America and through this, the entire western nations.
When western nations stopped ‘serving the Lord’ there remained only one path to travel, and that path leads through all the curses of Deuteronomy. There are those who say we can return to our former greatness but this is a pipedream. There have just been too many changes to the population makeup of western countries to bring back the ‘good old days’ when Jesus Christ was the centerpiece of our nations and we lived in relative harmony in a world where our ways were greatly respected. There is only one way back; God told us this in Hosea 5: 15, I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face …’ Despite all the hardship in our nations today, there is still not enough motivation to collectively go to our knees. It is going to take some form of disaster to shake us into reality.
Perhaps the business going on in Egypt, Tunisia, Jordan, Syria, Iran and other parts of the Mid-East is setting the table for the disaster. And the direction of other major nations in the world must be watched. Remember, Psalm 83: 2 warns us, ‘For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.’ And when you look at the many nations and peoples recorded at Ezekiel 38:2-6, there is no doubt we will be all by ourselves in a world driven by hate, greed and revenge. In my view it will be a time preceded by a financial collapse and when you look at today’s landscape, all the pieces are in place for this to happen.
When it does, and the invasion of our lands begins, it won’t take any coaxing to see true Israelites fall to their knees. That’s God’s signal to act and we shall see the proof of Jesus’ words, ‘Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man siting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.’ That day will soon be on the landscape and while our nations and brethren will pass through some very agonizing times, we have the Lord’s promise that we faithful will be protected. Jesus said, ‘Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.’ Then He gives us wonderful advice, ‘Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.’ (Revelation 3:10-11) When all ‘hell’ is breaking out around us, it may not be easy to avoid temptations to make life a little more bearable in a world gone crazy but it is times like this that our faith will sustain us. This year, 2011, promises to bring many unwelcome surprises to the western world and it is very possible by the time it ends, and we go into 2012, we will realize we are standing on the very last moments of this phase of God’s Plan.
“David Davidson Great Pyramid scholar
I know this article is long but I want to show you one final point. Both a Bible scholar named Dimbleby and a Great Pyramid authority named David Davidson demonstrated that the 6 days or 6,000 years of God’s Plan ended on the Autumn Equinox of AD 2001. Ussher, and other Bible scholars, gave Christ’s birth at 4 BC, meaning that the two days of Hosea 6:2, and other places in the Bible, resulted in a 1997 ending. So, we have two dates here, 2001 and 1997. I will write on this more fully at a later date because it is extremely interesting but there are a couple of intriguing points to consider.
- Hezekiah was told he would be healed, delivered out of the hands of his enemy Assyria, to go to the House of the Lord on the third day and 15 more years was added to his life. Adding 15 years to 1997, we arrive at 2012, a well discussed date in terms of prophecy. Fifteen stands for ‘Rest’ which is the result of ‘Deliverance’ or ‘Salvation’. Of course, this is the ultimate reward for Christians waiting to go to Christ’s Kingdom in the third day. Freedom time
- In a previous article, I demonstrated that the harvest period of the Esau Dominion began in 2001, probably at the Autumn Equinox with 911. In various places in the Bible, it refers to their cup of iniquity being full and as Lamentations 4: 22 states, “….O daughter of Edom; he will discover thy sins.” Maybe that will be part of 2012, or eleven years from the Autumn Equinox of 2001. Do you think it’s possible that just as the 15 years represents deliverance for True Israel and those that have embraced Christianity, that the eleven years ending 2012 means quite the opposite for Edom, along with the collaborators of Ezekiel 38:2-6 and all those collaborators inside the borders of the True Israel nations that have “comforted their hearts with luxuries and are doomed to slaughter.” (James 5:5) Remember “eleven” stands for judgment!
Time will tell.
