Rev. Dr. Kenneth Kemble has been a minister for over thirty years. Being the son of a minister, he grew up in church, and felt the calling of God upon his life at an early age. He has preached to interested groups all across the country, as well as numerous tours to Canada and overseas. He has spoken to churches of just about every Protestant denomination, led numerous Bible studies in homes, has preached at camps, on television and radio, and has even preached from a loft in a barn. He pastors a congregation in south Texas, and makes several preaching trips each year. He gives all praise, honour and glory to the Lord Jesus Christ for anything good that comes as a result of His efforts.
This is why the enemy does not want us to gather together for worship. The enemy knows that when we get together as one and worship God, he has no chance! But I encourage the pastors in Israel to OPEN UP the doors of your churches and tell your people to take the masks off and sing loud and long praises to our great God!
In our text, the people of God lamented their pitiful state. They were a conquered people and had lost their homeland to foreigners and found themselves in a strange land. Gone were the good old days, and they saw little prospect of them ever returning — and they were very sad.
The Eagle reminds us that our blessed Redeemer, after He hath redeemed us, bears us up on eagle’s wings. We can do absolutely nothing without Him. The object of His affection is pitiful and helpless.
Knowing this, and because of His great love for us, He carries us. I am so glad.

In these dark and evil days, let us draw ever closer to our Heavenly Father. Let each of us learn to be still before Him, and in that blessed quietness be reminded that He is God, that He is in control and that He is working all of this together for good to those who love Him, and who are the called according to His purpose. This too shall pass.
All of the above are in the newspapers each and every day. We are in for a rough ride, my brethren! But hear the end of it: “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”
We will live as normally as we can here at Kemble House, though that is subject partially to the powers that be. But we will not fear, for we know who holds the future, and we know whose Hand is in our hands.
What can the righteous now do? The answer is found in 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
Just as Moses said all those years ago, when God’s people found themselves with Pharaoh’s army on one side and the Red Sea on the other, “Fear ye not, stand still and see the salvation of the LORD,” Our God will keep us safe. All we need do . . . is trust Him!
I was in a church service some time back where the pastor pointed out and honoured the eldest member of the congregation. Knowing that with age comes wisdom, he asked the man if he had any words of wisdom for the congregation. At that, the man said, “Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.”
