Why Do the Wicked Succeed?

Please turn to Job 38 for today’s lesson and follow along as God asks Job a series of questions that no human could possibly answer. Job had his troubles by losing his family, his goods, his livestock, his health and his friends. I bet he thought he had lost everything and wondered what would be next?
To me honor equates to time—time spent with your loved ones, time to look at them and share the memories of your earlier days. Time to listen to the same stories that your parents repeat over and over due to dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. Time to hold their hand when their walk is gone and their steps are slow, time to give them a hug and cry a tear knowing that this may be the last time you may see them.
Let’s look at the word prayer—This word is used 114 times in the Strong’s exhaustive concordance—82 times in the Old Testament, 32 times in the New Testament, and seven times used by Jesus.
