Ask Rick Volume 1
From British Columbia: Dear Mr. Coupland: Is there a natural cure for sinus problems?
Dear BC: Thanks for your note. Interestingly, a pastor from Northern Ireland asked me the same question two months ago and here is what I suggested.
If this is a recurring problem, I would seriously consider giving up milk and all other dairy products. Milk is one of the most mucus-forming foods, and I’m convinced it isn’t meant for human consumption. (We get our calcium from green leafy vegetables …. not milk). I stopped drinking milk over 30 years ago, and my throat has never felt better. Your sinus problems could be a result of it.
A couple of other things you might want to try:
Take lots of vitamin C. Your daily amount should be a minimum of 3 or 4 grams – double that amount when not feeling the greatest.
Take a spoonful of apple-cider vinegar 2 or 3 times a day. I find the best way to take it is in a hot glass of water with a slice of lemon and a spoonful of raw honey.
It is said that sinusitis is caused by microbes found in the mucus and that colloidal silver is very effective for fighting it. One of the top brands of colloidal silver is Mesosilver, which contains fighting agents specific to sinusitis. Place a couple of drops in your nasal passage, and have a kleenex ready.
From British Columbia:Hi Mr. Coupland, In your recent article on Raw Foods, you mentioned a movie, “Simply Raw – Reversing Diabetes in 30 days.” Where can I obtain a copy.
Dear BC: Here is the address for this EXCELLENT movie! http://www.rawfor30days.com/index5c.html
