Are You Being Deceived

I believe the above verses are important words for today. The world is so full of lies and corruption that it has almost become the norm to realize that we are constantly being deceived and may not even know it. How do we continue to live in a world that no longer values truth and the values that kept our nations safe and admired? Those days are now gone, and we are falling rapidly into a world we do not understand and a world that is becoming completely different from our parents and grandparents lifetime.

It is actually quite surprising how quickly things have gone downhill in the last five or so years. The Bible warns us that this will be the case at the end of this age and unfortunately it is going to get worse before the Lord returns. Here is what Luke 21:8-11 says, “And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them. But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by. Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:  And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.” There will be many scary things happening and from the information I have read, in Greek the great signs from heaven are not good signs, i.e., monsters (could these be the “UFO’s” and strange lights that people, including pilots see?). Various commentaries are at biblehub.com. Could these fearful and great signs also be from the spiritual dimension (evil)? We must have ears to hear and eyes to see what is from God and what is from Satan’s evil forces that surround us today. In the time before the flood Noah and his family were the only righteous people. While Noah was building the Ark the rest of the people were going about their lives as normal and had no comprehension of why Noah was building this huge boat. They ignored any warnings and carried on as usual until the end came and the flood overtook them. Is that not what it is like today? Most people have no idea what is about to happen as God is holding off for a short time yet as He wants people to wake up and come to Him, but that time is quickly coming to an end and like with the Ark the door will be closed and that will be it. Our Israel nations are so lost and due to their abandoning God and all His protection, our nations are full of corruption, lies, and abominations. We are in dire straits quickly falling apart. Like in the time before the flood we have widespread violence and bloodshed, there is a great falling away, and people go along with any new thing that comes along. They believe nonsense and act accordingly. The new AI (Artificial Intelligence) will only make this worse. Evil prevails and our politicians and most religious leaders are silent and do nothing to correct the mess we are in. At times we feel helpless and cannot see our wonderful nations returning to the great Christian nations with all of God’s blessings, as we have abandoned Him. We wait on the Lord to open people’s eyes to see and hear the truth, to realize who they are and come back to Him. 2John 1:6-8 says, “And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it. For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.” Our enemies are working hard to destroy us, and these dark forces are powerful, but we must have ears to hear so we can discern the truth. God is working out His plan and these people that have caused so much havoc in our nations will soon be revealed and dealt with. Be close to God and He will guide us through this time. We are the light and will always shine through the dark. Jesus warned us in Matt. 24:11-14, “And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” We are living in this time of great deceit and we must not be deceived but stay close to Jesus.
