The Truth Shall Be Declared
“For evil shall be put out, and deceit shall be quenched. As for faith it shall flourish, corruption shall be overcome, and the truth, which bath been so long without fruit, shall be declared.” II Esdras 6:27-28.
The prophet Esdras here assures us of the end of evil and the ultimate victory of Truth. Literally dozens of signs have been given to present day Israel that Christ is coming and that He will receive us when we turn to Him.
It is part of the revealed record that evil days are planned for the Anglo Saxon people by their enemies (83rd Psalm). Despite present overtures of peace and well doing of the Russian leaders, what Russian communism has done for her people and is doing for her subject nations, she expects and plans to do to us. That attempt is not far off. Unless Britain and America are God’s nations she will succeed, for God has promised to fight only for Israel. (Ezekiel 38:18-19.) How long will the churches ignore the prophecies concerning the restoration of the Israel nations? How long will they promulgate the deceit that the Jews represent all Israel? How long will they put forth the myth that the church is to be the heir of the promises made to Israel and then in the next breath say that the Jews are to inherit them? The Lord has stated that “deceit shall be quenched.”
Faith will play an important part in the coming era, so it is stated. It will be executed in a bold, dashing, triumphant manner. Think of those things which will be executed in the power and name of Jesus, the Christ! (Read Isaiah 35.)
Corruption will be a thing of the past. The political parties today make hay of each other’s’ corruption. They take delight in uncovering and spreading abroad any mistakes for political gain. Graft, delinquency, gambling, stealing, murders and the like which fill today’s newspapers will be a thing of the past.
Truth shall be declared! That’s good news!
The Truth in that day won’t be strained through 500 or more sects or denominations where the fruit gets pretty thin. Jesus said: “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.” Wonderful days are coming — the prophets have stated: “Lift up your heads and rejoice for your redemption draweth nigh!”
