Prayer Power
There is no such thing as prayer power. Prayers on their own cannot accomplish anything. They are just words. The power is with the person we are praying to. His power is infinite. We just need to ask Him for help.
Queen Esther in the Bible was besieged by a wicked Edomite named Haman. He wanted to kill Esther and all her people. Esther could do nothing against him. She fasted for three days and then went to the king. The king received Esther because he was in love with her, and by his edicts he delivered Esther and her people from the wicked plans of Haman. Esther had no power to save herself, but the king did. We can take our requests to our King. When will we realize that we have no power to deliver ourselves? But God can deliver Israel. Nobody else has the power.
There is false hope in following any man and hoping for deliverance by him. Crowds of people like to cheer for Donald Trump, saying he will save America. I don’t think he can save America. It is too complicated for one man or one party. Only God can save America. It needs a total cleansing of evil. The same goes for every nation. Satan still rules every nation, but his dominion can be taken away from him. It is up to Christians. All they need to do is ask the Lord to return in power.
Satan tempted Jesus. “And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.” Luke 4:5-8. Satan was correct. God had given him authority over all the world except Israel. However, he does not have authority over anyone who calls on and believes in Jesus.
Every nation has an evil angel ruling over them, called a principality. Israel has a righteous angel over them, named Michael. The Lord appeared and spoke to the prophet Daniel. “Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come. But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.” Daniel 10:20-21.At the time the Lord spoke to Daniel Israel was scattered and did not have possession of a country. It was just before Ezra returned to the Holy Land. Israel was only a people, not a country. Today we call the nations where the Anglo-Saxon people live, the Israel nations, but in many of those nations we do not rule. We are the largest ethnic group in the country, but we are not in the majority. Our nations are still Israel, but we do not rule them like we used to.
The answer for us is the same answer Esther had in the Bible. We need to go to the King (Jesus) and ask Him to deliver us. In our personal lives God has given us the ability to stand against Satan (James 4:7). For the nation, it is up to the combined prayers of the churches in the nation. Do our churches pray every Sunday for the nation? They think they would be praying for a heathen nation. They do not recognize who the Anglo-Saxon and kindred people are. They refuse to pray for the protection and restoration of our people. They think it would be racist to pray for the Anglo-Saxon and kindred people. Each of us can pray for our Israel people, even if our churches refuse to do it.
Political leaders cannot save our Israel nations. Only the Saviour can save us. We have gone too far in our sin. Judgement is coming upon us, but the Lord will save us in the end. I believe most of our people will come through the fire and survive. Then the Lord will restore our Israel people to greatness in the coming Kingdom.
