Poor Jacob
After incredible blessings poured out on the descendants of Jacob (the Anglo-Saxon and kindred people), our people are now suffering increasing persecution and denial of the blessings offered to us by God. Instead of blessings, we are suffering curses, as promised in the twenty-eighth chapter of Deuteronomy.
Many of our people are now borrowing money just for the necessities of life, and many others are living paycheck to paycheck. We have been overwhelmed by immigration of non-Christian people. The descendants of Jacob are no longer in control of their nations. In some of our Israel nations we have become just another minority.
Moreover, we are criticized by people throughout the world for stealing land from native people, having slaves, and imposing our religion on others. This is the mentality of the woke movement, which is influencing the thinking of our young people to turn them against their own heritage. However, history has shown there has never been another belief system as beneficial as Christianity. Unfortunately, history is being re-written.
The warnings are in the Bible. The Bible is a gift from God to point us in the right direction. Ignoring its warnings will bring suffering. One judgement we are headed for is a fierce military conflict, as predicted in the book of Deuteronomy. “The Lord shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand; A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor shew favour to the young:” Deuteronomy 28:49-50. We have proven that we cannot beat Russia in Ukraine, despite pouring billions of dollars into the war.
We are headed for the battle of Armageddon. I believe it will not take place only in a valley in the Middle East. The meaning of Armageddon in Strong’s Concordance comes from two Hebrew words meaning a mass of troops on the mountains. This could refer to the Israel nations, such as the U.S.A., the U.K., Canada, Australia, and others, represented in scripture as mountains. The battle could be within our own borders. We have been invaded by who knows what enemies that have poured into our nations and would probably take up arms against us in a major war. We have let them in.
Poor Jacob.
The answer for him is quite simple, and the Lord will initiate it. “So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the Lord.” Isaiah 59:19-20. We need to call on the name of the Lord (Jesus) to be saved, and he will save us. Jacob will meet God face to face when Jesus Christ returns to the earth, and will take on the character of Israel, meaning “ruling like God”, rather than Jacob, meaning “a supplanter”. The sin we are always accused of is supplanting other people. This criticism will cease.
The promise is for the future of our people, but we Christians have already met Jesus and are children of God. The New Jerusalem has not yet given birth to the Kingdom of God, but we are already born of her. “Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.” Isaiah 66:8.
We Christians are receivers of the highest honours in the Kingdom. “But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,” Hebrews 12:22-23.
