Travesty
The enmity between those calling themselves Jews and the displaced Palestinians goes back way before World War 2. And who is largely responsible for this? We are, the British, for we promised the land of Palestine to both the Jews and the Arabs. Although not in entirety, in the days during and just prior to the ending of World War 1.
Firstly, by issuing the unwise Balfour Declaration, courtesy of the British Foreign Secretary and secondly by Captain T. E. Lawrence (of Arabia), the famous British officer, who spoke fluent Arabic, and who sought the help of the Arabs to drive out the Turkish Ottoman forces from Palestine and surrounding areas in return for us to secure the land for their rightful occupation. Unfortunately, you cannot square the circle. Our mistake was to grossly underestimate the motivations of the Jewish propagandists and activists. And please bear in mind that this was decades before the ‘holocaust’.,
The Balfour Declaration promised the Jews a homeland, not a state, and the Jews, as part of the agreement, were instructed to be respectful to the native (indigenous) inhabitants who already dwelt there. However, there was never likely to be a peaceful resolution, because for many years there had been Jewish incursions into Palestine even before World War 1, but also in the inter-war years 1918–1939. Additionally, the bloody Soviet revolution in Russia had emboldened the Jews in their aspirations. Which revolution, led by Lenin, saw the murder of over 20 million Russian Christians.
The booklet published by the British-Israel World Federation at the time of the Declaration, entitled “The Sovereignty of Palestine” had this to say regarding the Palestine Partition Plan. “It was a British army and not a Jewish army which delivered Jerusalem from the Turks in 1917, and from December of that year, the Union Jack has flown over Government House in Jerusalem as the emblem of the sovereignty of Great Britain. There was no need to have a policy of restoring the land of Israel to the Israelites, as we were already there!” It is the British who are Semitic and Israelite and NOT the vast majority of Jewish people. We can only encourage the reader to read the Bible carefully in search for truth.
Sadly, as with the case of the USA and China, at the end of World War 2, war weariness led to the scuttling away from our historic right of possession, in the face of Jewish terrorism directed against us and our soldiers, who were legally carrying out the League of Nations mandate. It is a tragedy that the land of Palestine was not created a Crown Colony under British jurisdiction.
There is a saying that sums up so much of what is happening today, “if you cannot convince ‘em, confuse ’em”. This is especially easy to do today as the level of individual human knowledge about almost everything is lower than in past ages. And so, the forces of deliberate confusion forced into birth of a creation where two irreconcilable peoples were made to live cheek to check with each other. And after a series of wars, the result has been that the Palestinians have been pushed out of more and more of their rightful land. Some today suggest the end game is to eject these poor people either into the sea or some poor unfortunate country like Egypt. Such behaviour is pretty well beyond description.
What Britain had tried to do was to utilise the Wisdom of Solomon, by dividing the land into two, as the child in the Bible for whom two women had claimed to be the mother. But we ended with the extraordinary spectacle of Great Britain agreeing that the child (Palestine) be divided, in complete forgetfulness that SHE, Britain, was the true parent herself!
It is often asked on the internet, “Is the present conflict another part of Mystery Babylon’s plan for a one-world government without God at the helm. In the case of the Middle East, if we do not stand for the rightful occupiers of Palestine, then we really cannot complain when our land is handed over to alien foreigners. This is, in any case, very well advanced, and our fellow countrymen are already living under a web of lies and intrigue.
On the other hand, the terrorist group of Hamas should not be praised as so many protesters are doing today. yet, in trying to defeat Hamas, Israel deserves chastisement for the severity of their actions against the Palestine population.
As it is, how then do we resolve the current appalling situation which has transpired? Quite honestly, I feel that we are on the foothills of World War III, which may be one month or one year or three or four years away. For there are plenty who are salivating at this prospect. If we turn to Psalm 120 of our Bible, we find it records that, “My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace, I am for peace, but when I speak they are for war”. And in Psalm 140, “Deliver me, O Lord from the evil man, preserve me from the violent man, which imagine mischief in their heart, continually are they gathered together for war”.
Right from the beginning it was clear that, like the ever-ungrateful child, each concession to an aggressor once granted would be followed by a further demand. There is no satisfying the amoral advances of the unrepentant man. It is a never-ending pursuit of total power.
Our only hope is in Our Lord Jesus Christ, for he will exercise perfect judgement upon this world. And in the Beatitudes, he proclaimed “Blessed are the meek for THEY shall inherit the Earth.
Amen
