God Save Us All
I received a copy of a Christian newspaper called ‘Heart’, from a friend. It was dated August/September 2022. So, it was produced before Queen Elizabeth 2nd passed away.
An irate Crewkerne, Somerset reader, Ms. Judy Wood, penned a letter to that newspaper, which she headed “Pray for the Queen”. As you read Ms. Wood’s remarks, it is obvious that her letter was written and dispatched before the death of the Monarch, but not long after her Jubilee celebrations.
She wrote, “On 2nd July we found ourselves caught up in London’s ‘Gay Pride’ march while on the way to the Officers Club in Piccadilly, to celebrate my army officer grandson’s engagement. As a grandma and great grandma, I was left quite traumatised. The shock to me was the roaring of the crowd in approval. Once home that night, still heavily burdened with what I witnessed, the following words came to me, I believe a clear warning to us, “I have seen a terrible thing – the celebration of defilement in the heart of the capital city. Woe, woe, I will not be silent. Watch, therefore and pray. Pray for the innocents, Pray long life for your Queen, For I shall not act while she lives. Speak to my people – warn – For the days are short. The harvest is over.”
Reflecting on Ms. Wood’s comments, one has to contemplate, ‘Now that the Queen has gone, we are left to consider – what now? It brings to mind the words of God to Josiah – a good king in Judah – after the book of God’s Laws was unearthed in the temple as it was being repaired following the misdemeanours of Josiah’s predecessors, “Behold therefore, I will gather thee unto thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered unto thy grave in peace; and thine eyes shall not see all the evil which I will bring upon this place…” (see 2 kings 22).
Personally, I really do feel this is also the case with the death of the Queen. Whilst she may not have been perfect (who amongst us is) – and may have agreed to, or done things we felt she should not – basically she was a good Christian Queen, and known throughout the world as such. And it should be noted that at one time she was quoted as having stated there “are very dark forces…” so, she may have felt she had to tread carefully.
Two days before her death, Queen Elizabeth accepted Liz Truss as her – and our – new prime minister – with the customary handshake.
As an aside, did you know that the handshake has come down to us as a derivative of the original blood oath going back into Biblical times. From the blood of animals in sacrifices for sin, to the merging of two people’s blood, by a cut on each hand and clasping them together – blood brothers – to confirm or sanctify an agreement or promise. And the Blood of the new Covenant as initiated by our Lord Jesus Christ, by His own Blood. So, it is a symbolic act.
Her death so soon after this handshake, followed by the period of mourning, and subsequent burial was swiftly followed by the ousting of Liz Truss – as the earthly ‘powers’ that be (the ‘dark forces?), preferred one of their own (a globalist) to be in the driver’s seat.
So now we come to King Charles 3rd. How will things fare with him as our new monarch?
Bearing in mind Judy Wood’s prophetic letter and looking at what happened to the remaining House of Judah after Josiah’s death, what indications do we have?
A short time after Josiah’s death, the following kings (with short reigns) went back to doing evil in the sight of the Lord and – just as the House of Israel did when they went into the Babylonian captivity. (And if not for the hand of the Lord, and His promise to David – that would have been the end of the Throne…).
Here’s some interesting numbers concerning Charles. We remember back in 1996 the Coronation Stone was sent back to Scotland – on 14th November – ‘Prince’ Charles’ 48th birthday – 48 being half of 96. Charles having been born in 1948. Interestingly, his mother – our Queen – died aged 96. Is there anything significant in these numbers?
And, after the beautiful funeral service for Her Majesty, and the procession of her coffin to St George’s Chapel, in Windsor Castle (and not forgetting the wonderful array of rainbows throughout), then took place the more private ‘committal’ service, where her coffin was then lowered into the vault below. At the end of this service, the Chief Herald, David White, (an interesting name in itself…) omitted to end his comments with the call of; “God Save the King”! This would have been followed by a reply in unison from everyone else there – another “God Save the King”! But this did not happen. Does this signify anything?
Also, King Charles shook hands with our latest ‘new’ prime minister, Rishi Sunak, not as his mother did, with a fellow Anglo/Saxon Christian, but with a man of a different faith, a practising Hindu – perhaps symbolic of Charles’ desire to be ‘defender of faiths…!
So, the Queen has gone, and the days are short. The enemy are not just ‘at the gate’, but are pouring in. Let us warn our people and look to Our Lord Jesus Christ – and ‘May God Save Us All…!”
