“… the meek shall inherit the earth”

Unfortunately, our archives has not produced any biographical information but we intend to add to these remarks later.

WE, UPON THIS EARTH, are about to enter into a new way of life . . . HOW great the change will be . . . and how drastic the adjustment few comprehend.

The prophets tell us that Lucifer’s fall from heaven resulted from his vanity. Surely that vanity, great as it is, can be no greater than the vanity of God’s people today. Consider the widespread concept that the Creator should have no part in government. He Who made us, we are told, should not govern us. The preachers speak glibly about “separation of church and state” – what they mean is that the state has no responsibility to obey God!

OF COURSE, THE POLITICIANS HAVE BEEN QUICK to make the most of this idea. Our schools and colleges promote the concept and so each year the population is flooded with more individuals who, having no sense of responsibility, are ripe for enrollment in the flood of lawlessness which is sweeping across our nation. The powers of evil lick their lips with glee as American leadership continues to prime the pump of irresponsibility and senseless rebellion.

All this is not at all surprising for the Bible foretold just such a condition at the end of the age. In Rev. 18.21, it is recorded that our present rebellious, humanistic society will be destroyed by violence. The Bible speaks of the present sophisticated order as great Babylon and declares, “Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.”

ONE MUST BE CAREFUL TO DISTINGUISH HERE. This is not the end of our earth but the end of our godless way of life, the total destruction of all elements, all institutions, and all individuals who have been determined that we shall ignore God and His eternal laws of righteousness. This final destruction of evil is the end result of rebellion against the Creator.

WHO THEN WILL BE LEFT TO CONTINUE LIFE upon the planet? The Lord Jesus tells us. “Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth.” (Matt. 5.5). We should be careful not to take a wrong view of “the meek”. The Master was not speaking of the fearful, or the cringing, or those who allow others to walk over them. This is not the true meaning of meekness. The meek are those of God’s people who depend upon God, trust Him and obey Him.

THE DESTRUCTION which is soon to come upon this present lawless way of life will make way for God-fearing men and women to inherit the earth. Up to the present day, they have not had much to say about the shape of our society. In His statement that the meek shall inherit the earth, the Lord was actually paraphrasing the plan of God as it had been revealed to the prophets. As we read in Proverbs 2.21-22, “For the upright shall dwell in the land and the perfect shall remain in it. But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it.”

NO OTHER BOOK HAS BEEN READ WITH SO LITTLE UNDERSTANDING AS THE BIBLE. So many have been taught to use it only as a sort of glorified grab-bag out of which one may, if he looks long enough, find a few isolated texts which will bolster his own ideas. Actually the Bible is the history – past, present and future – of a particular family, the children of Abraham. It also gives details concerning the promotion of certain ones to become the ruling body or government over this family. This supernatural ruling body will take over the government of our people at the return of their Federal Head, the Lord Jesus Christ.

IF YOU OWNED a piece of property on which some evil and rebellious interlopers had taken up residence and were making slaves out of your rightful tenants, what would you do? The chances are that, after the usurpers had refused numerous warnings to mend their ways, you would take action for the sake of your rightful tenants. Something like this is exactly what is going to happen. The invasion will come from outer space. It will be headed up by our resurrected Lord Jesus Christ Himself.

LEST YOU MAY THINK I’M INVENTING A PROPHECY, listen to a prophecy, in parable, which Jesus taught: “There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country. And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruit of it. And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another . . . but last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, they will reverence my son. But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance. And they caught him and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him. When the Lord, therefore, of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen? They say unto him, he will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits of their seasons . . . and when the chief priests and the Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them. But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet.” (Matt. 21.33-46).

Now, if we are to properly apply this parable and so understand it for our day, it will be necessary to identify the vineyard, the wicked husbandmen or caretakers and the obedient caretakers into whose hands the owner placed the vineyard. In Isaiah 5.7, we learn that the vineyard is the House (Family) of Israel. These are the children of Abraham of whom we have already spoken, They are identified racially, in today’s world, as the Anglo-Saxon, Celtic and kindred peoples; furthermore, by faith, they are identified as those who obey Jesus Christ and accept His atonement for their sins.

REFERRING BACK TO THE ACCOUNT OF JESUS’ PARABLE in Matthew 21, we find that the wicked caretakers were the chief priests and the Pharisees; in other words, the Edomites and Canaanites who called themselves Judahites and ruled over the people. In 70 A.D., the Roman legions, under Titus, completely destroyed their city. Since then they have struggled to keep their unlawful authority over the vineyard of God’s people. The hold of these modern Canaanites over us is presently being maintained through a false economic system. In this, they are greatly aided by a perverted educational institution.

Soon, however, the Lord’s prophecy will be completely fulfilled. The Canaanites, shorn of all power, will no longer trouble Israel. The Kingdom of God will be given into the hands of God’s people. HISTORY records that the modern descendants of true Israel, under the leadership of Jesus Christ, have built two great nations upon the continent of North America. For those who have eyes to see, it is evident that for many years these have rendered the fruits of the vine= yard, in their seasons, unto the Creator. Now, however, in the last days of this age, the Edomites and the Canaanites together with the Khazars are again in the ascendancy. They are sitting, as Jesus declared, in Moses’ seat – that is, in the seats of leadership. The political, religious, economic and social life has once again come under the dominance of the chief priests and the Pharisees as it was in the days of Jesus’ ministry. (Matt. 21.45).

HOW HAS THIS OCCURRED? Has God failed – that His vineyard should again be in the hands of the rebels? No, indeed. His prophets long ago foretold that this would again occur at the end of the age. In II Esdras 6.9, it is prophesied that Edom will have the ascendancy over Jacob (or Israel) at the end of this age. However, this same prophecy also shows that the new age shortly to come will be under the control of God’s own Jacob-Israel.

How has Edom been able to take over? This also is made quite plain in the Scriptures. Turning to Deuteronomy, chapter 28, and studying verses 43 through 45, the reason for Edom’s power over our present society is clearly revealed. It is because we, God’s own people, have not listened unto the voice of the Lord our God. We have not and we are not, at present, keeping His commandments and statutes.

HOW FEW OF US REMEMBER that Christ died on the cross to redeem His people from evil. It was as a result of that redemption that we were finally established in freedom here in North America. In fact, riot long before the turn of the century, the Supreme Court of the United States declared that we, in the United States (and by inference in Canada as well) are a Christian people. Due to the activities of the enemies of Christ within the nation, however, we have surrendered our right to honor Christ Jesus our Redeemer.

In practical terms, this is what has happened. The Edomite elements have moved into the seats of authority. This could only occur as we lost our zeal for Christ and God’s Book. Through machinations, known to most of us, the Bible and Jesus Christ became less important than certain humanist doctrines and liberal views. This attitude has been fostered with increasing zeal in almost all of our institutions. The result, as foreseen by the prophets, has taken place. Christians are now educated by the forces of anti-Christ. The political arena is no longer the opportunity to choose between God-fearing men to rule over us. Today we know that no matter who is elected he will not raise his voice for Christ nor for God’s law. This viewpoint, unfortunately, has become the viewpoint of the vast majority of the clergy.

So, it is natural that the truly meek, those who trust Jesus Christ and who follow Him, should look-for the final deliverance which He has promised. And, friends, it is very close. Both the lukewarm Christian and the forces of evil are blind to the impending destruction of this evil world (society) and the establishment of God’s Kingdom.
