Law and Disorder
In order to determine what Law is, we need to establish its origin, and if we do we shall find that this is closely tied up with motion, either physical or spiritual. It is basically a template which evaluates action and reaction with a recourse to the achievement of harmony, for harmony is the highest expression of Law. If any law is found which does not maintain or enhance harmony, then I would aver that this is not a true law at all, but a device for lawlessness. In the Holy Bible we are treated to the laws of Moses, or the laws received by Moses; these are moral laws, but antecedent to these, the basic laws of the created Universe were already in existence. These laws were set in motion by our loving Creator for the purpose of maintaining harmony in the Cosmos. We are told that “God saw that it was good” (or harmonious) at every stage of development. Law properly applied results in order, and absence of chaos.
Chaos was in fact, according to Greek mythology, the name for the very first god who ruled over the original shapeless mass. His wife was called Nyx or Nox, from which we derive the word noxious, pertaining to night. Their son was called Erebus (darkness). The Universe only became orderly upon the birth of the children of Erebus; Aether (light) and Hemera (day). Now this is a classical diversion as outlined by the Greek poet Hesiod in the eighth century before Christ, but it is a pointer to that state currently desired by the workers of iniquity in this time who seek to return us to complete degeneracy.
Many are the strands which are employed to bring this about, and they are often accompanied by seemingly worthwhile motives. But we must remember that Scripture admonishes those who call evil good and good evil. Firstly, of course, came the “New Morality” (immortality), in the beginning of the 1960,s, aided by the emergence of the contraceptive pill, which far from decreasing the number of child murders actually started the upward trend in infanticide, reminiscent of the children sacrificed to pagan gods as told in our Bible, to such an extent that millions die in the womb every single year. Then we have the further erosion of monetary discipline – buy now, pay later. Well, we are certainly in the Pay Later stage, possibly the finality of all fiscal order, with calamitous consequences all over the world. Then we have the assiduous and determined release of savage animals into environments where they had been eradicated, because they were a danger to life. So now predatory mammals and birds are set loose to cause havoc to the more vulnerable life-forms which have previously been able to live out their lives in peace. This is the same mindset as found in those who glory in having as pets, vicious and dangerous dogs. This is, if you like, evolution (sic) in reverse, dragging us back to “nature” red in tooth and claw. An evocation of violence and terror, given the soporific term ‘rewilding’.
Today we have laws excusing every dereliction of the human spirit, that have allowed multiple evils to become the norm, and speaking out against these deviations leads to a cacophony of screeching by the devil’s agents. New delusions are invented to confuse and de-stable: man-made climate change, gender fluidity, critical race theory, all generated by those opposed to the rule of Almighty God, and full of the most basic errors. These, in addition to the fatally flawed “theory of evolution”, an absurd concoction of serial impossibilities. Now we have the latest trick, a worldwide pandemic, a word derived from the goat-footed god, Pan, purposely created, which is being used to destroy all of our ancient freedoms and return us to a state of slavery. Surely, indeed, as our Lord Jesus Christ has stated, “and except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved” (Matthew 24:22).
Now the snakes of this world know that they cannot attack a strong person directly. So, what they do is to sneak up to one of that person’s friends and whisper their lies in their ears, in the hope of their deception being accepted second-hand. This is a dependable strategy because we all like to please and not offend our friends. But we must learn to stand fast and raise up the banner of Truth against all subtleties and subliminal assaults, no matter from what direction they emanate.
Harmony is a word generated from the Greek for joining, and the Latin for agreement of sounds. It represents the result of perfected creation, whether in music, architecture, the arts etc. The modern ethos is to worship disharmony and ugliness at every level, a grotesque wandering from the true and eternal vision, indicating a state of infantile adulthood, a desire to shock, cause upset and decry positivity, and disturb the relationship between Man and his Maker.
“To attempt to study Scripture without studying its’ Law is to deny it. To attempt to understand Western Civilisation separate from the impact of Biblical Law upon it is to seek a fictitious history”. Thus states John Rushdoony in his “Institutes of Biblical Law”. He continues. “The increasing breakdown of law and order must first of all be attributed to the churches. If the churches are lax with respect to the Law, will not the people follow suit? The social order which despises God’s Law places itself on death row and is marked for judgement. Toleration is a device used to introduce a new law-system as a prelude to a new tolerance”.
In his novel “2984”, George Orwell had his new world order stating, “Our civilisation is founded on hatred, progress in our world will be progress towards more pain. There will be no loyalty except loyalty towards the Party and no love except the love of Big Brother”. Can we see clearly these lines of advance in our present time. Is not this where so-called ‘progressive’ politics is leading? My interpretation of that ridiculous word ‘woke’ is that it stands for “War On the Kingdom of the Eternal”. Yes, indeed there is one vast hate crime today and it is the incandescent rage directed at Jesus Christ and His followers, by the agents, willing or unwilling of Satan.
We are instructed not to be confirmed to this world, but to seek first the Kingdom of Heaven, and to resist the demands and seductions of this world, which lead to madness and death. “Come quickly Lord Jesus”. Amen.
