Crossing Our Red Sea
“When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee in the latter days, if thou turn to the Lord thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice,…he will not forsake thee, nor destroy thee, not forge the covenant of thy fathers which he swore unto them.” (Deut. 4:30,31).
“Egypt”
Circa 1500-1450 BC
After several months of negotiating and pleading with the Egyptian Potentate, the Hebrew children were eventually released from their bondage and allowed to serve their God. It had been an eventful couple of months in which God, by the hand of Moses, his servant, performed many miracles to establish glory and sovereignty over the King of Egypt, the most powerful ruler of the time. As a matter of fact, the last act of God at this time was so powerful and devastating to the Egyptians, that instead of allowing the Israelites to go, they were practically evicted from the land and ordered to go. (Ex, 12:31-33). So, now the Hebrew children had been on the road, so to say, for possibly a couple of weeks, being led by Moses and God’s pillar of smoke and fire, when they encountered their first major obstacle, namely the Red Sea where they were ordered to set up an encampment. In the meanwhile Pharaoh and his officials realized, after they had gotten over their initial grief, that they had lost all of their slave labor force and commenced to pursue the children of Israel in order to bring them back into bondage. When the Lord God says “let my people go” He means exactly that and no screaming and or conniving is going to change the determination of our God. The Egyptians should have known firsthand that no matter what man decides, God is supreme and will succeed. We all know the rest of the story, how that God parted the sea to let Israel through dry-shod but drowned all the Egyptians when the water returned. Even though Egypt remained a prominent power for many centuries after, its supreme power of those days was forever broken. With the crossing of the Red Sea the Israelites were firmly established on their journey from bondage to freedom, from slavery to liberty, for God remembered His promises to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. (2Cor. 3:17).
“North America”
Present Day, 2020
Instead of North America, I could just as well have said the world, but since I am located in B.C. Canada, with many strong family ties in the U.S. I will just focus on this geographical area for simplicities sake. I am writing this in the middle of August and so far, since the beginning of March this year, 2020, it has been a very unsettling year, six months of rules and regulations, all in the name of COVID-19, for the so-called protection of the general population, thereby destroying our economies beyond repair, and with no end in sight. Now I am not denying that we have a problem on our hands with this virus, but common sense tells me that had the authorities treated this issue like we did the other viral outbreaks of the last twenty to twenty-five years or so, the vast majority of the people would by now have established an immunity to this virus, something termed herd immunity, but instead, through their policy of separation, isolation and distancing, this outbreak is being prolonged to the point of being ridiculous and devastating. The Covenant Messenger, the newsletter of Christian Identity Ministries from Queensland, Australia, July’s issue, reprinted several blogs by Ben Williams, refuting the severity and accuracy of the cause and death rate of this Corona outbreak that sheds a lot of light on what is really going on. For those with internet access Ben William’s blog can be reached by clicking benwilliamslibrary.com/blog. These blogs are dated April 24/20, April 26/20 and May 13/20. With all this said, it brings us to the point stated in the title of this essay namely, “Crossing Our Red Sea”.
Whereas our ancestors of thirty-five hundred or so years ago were faced with the swamps, bogs and reeds of the Red Sea on their way to freedom we, today, are instead faced, not with a body of water but with a sea of red tape, all in the name of our well-being and safety, yet all these rules and regulations contravene every right and privilege afforded us under our Constitution and Bill of Rights. Our right of assembly is denied us by the mandate of social distancing, our right to worship as we please without government intervention has been broached for the same reason and our churches have been ordered closed. I could go on, but I am sure you get my drift.
Our ancestors crossed their sea on the way to freedom when they crossed their sea, but what will we find when we cross our sea? Our future looks very bleak and uncertain, and seems to be heading toward servitude and total control by the oligarch that unbeknownst to most, rule even our governments. O yes, friends the New world Order, they are there and have an agenda and this whole Covid scare is part of that agenda, namely, people control. Yes, my friends it is time to wake up to the truth. Our people are often referred to as sheeple, because they follow the crowd without reservation, but for some unknown reason the Lord God put some grey matter between our ears and it is time that we start using that stuff before it is too late. Now, I know that there are some of you out there that are going to be very upset with what I have said, but Jesus stated in the Gospel of John 8:32, “Know the truth and the truth shall make you free”. Furthermore, Paul says in Gal. 4:16, “Am I, therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth”.
But it is not altogether too late, yes, our ships of state are sinking and sinking fast but if we wake up in time we can and will righten these ships, but we cannot do it alone. We will need the guidance of our Heavenly Father to give us the direction in which we must go. Pray to Him for strength and guidance and may He lead you always. Remember in Him we are free and not slaves, for He has called us His children, sons and daughters, beholden to no one but Him.
