What Is the Cause
“For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.” (Deut. 7:6)
Over the last several decades there has been a concerted effort to denigrate and malign the Caucasian segment of our modern society, especially here in North America. We, the Anglo-Saxon Celtic peoples have been called bigots, neo-nazis, white supremist, racist, etc. with the latest emphasis being on white privilege. These sentiments are mainly voiced by a certain segment from within the several ethnic minority groups, often being fomented by outside hidden agitators. But the sad fact is that even among our own kind there are always many bleeding hearts that concur with these statements. I personally am acquainted with a retired minister who served for many years as a missionary Pastor in Honduras, who, whenever on furlough back in the States, would ostracize us for our well-being, our opulence, good wages and the abundance of food on our tables, things that are sorely lacking in those third-world countries. Another rather pathetic fact is that most of our Anglo-Saxon Celtic brethren will tuck their tails between their legs and slink off to some dark corner and hide for fear of being called one of the derogatory names mentioned before and thereby become slaves to political correctness instead of standing tall and be proud of who and what they are.
So, where lays the blame for this dilemma? Simply stated, the blame lies with God! Now our accusers will more than likely not agree with this fact, but it was God and God alone who decided to take the race of Adam, through the bloodline of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and appoint to Himself a people that became known as the Israelites, the people of God.
There are two very profound prophetic statements in the Bible that have a direct bearing on the problem at hand. The first is found in Gen. 49 and a corroborating one is found in Deut. 33. The first one is Jacob blessing his sons and the second one is Moses blessing the tribes. So, let’s look at what the Scriptures have to say, beginning in Genesis. “Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well, whose branches run over the wall…Even by the God of thy father who shall help thee; and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee with blessings of Heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb. The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills; they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.” (Gen. 49:22,25,26). Verse 22 indicates that the tribe of Joseph would be a very prolific people, whose descendants would eventually be found all over the world. Verse 25 indicates that they, the Josephites, would be richly blessed, both on land and in and on the sea, where as in verse 26, Jacob states that his blessing to Joseph would by far surpass the blessing that he himself received from his fathers, namely Abraham and Isaac.
Let us now compare this with the Mosaic blessing as found in Deuteronomy. “And of Joseph he said, Blessed of the LORD be his land, for the precious things of heaven, for the dew, and for the deep that coucheth beneath, And for the precious fruits brought forth by the sun, and for the precious things put forth by the moon, And for the chief things of the ancient mountains, and for the precious things of the lasting hills, And for the precious things of the earth and fulness thereof, and for the good will of him that dwelt in the bush: let the blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the head of him that was separated from his brethren.” (Deut. 33:13-16). The similarities in these two prophetic statements is very profound and bear a double witness that these blessings would be accomplished in due time.
Now I know that North America and some of the other Western nations are a melting pot of people of all the Israel tribes. The fact is that in all those places the Joseph tribe is by far the most represented tribal faction in both Ephraim and Manasseh. But our accusers and detractors will say, you are talking about the old Israel people and they disappeared off the scene long ago, save for the Jews. What these people fail to see, and that bit of history has never been taught to them, is that those Israelites after they left their Assyrian captivity and started on their migratory journey, crossed a mountain range between the Black and Caspian Seas and hence forth, became known as Caucasians, an all encompassing name for all those that under different names eventually settled all the coastland and isles of North and Western Europe. Yes, my dear friends, we are truly privileged, not because we are white, but because a long time ago God decided to call Abraham out of Ur of the Chaldeans and led him into a land called Canaan, where God promised Abraham that he would become a father of many nations, and that through his seed all the nations of the earth would be blessed.
Blessed be the God of Israel!
