Lucky for Some?

‘God’s Law contains a principle that at least two witnesses are required to establish any matter. God is true to His own Law, and any Word of His which is doubled, signifies that it is an established and unalterable part of the eternal purpose. For example, God occasionally doubled His call to an individual, uttering their name twice (Abraham, Jacob, Samuel, Saul/Paul). Such a double utterance of their name always signifies their calling was certain. We also need a double reassurance. Hope with certainty, When God says something twice it is unalterably established …Comfort ye, Comfort ye My people – we are utterly certain to be comforted…”

Looking at this year of 2018 – so far – I was struck by the amount of double (and even more than double) related events that seem to be taking place. And because anything doubled, that could be considered a sign from the Lord, is important, I thought I would share these things with you.

Let us begin with January. This month was dubbed a ‘Blue Moon’ because there were 2 full moons. The first on January 2nd and the second on 31st. But then March was also a ‘Blue Moon’ month, with full moons on the same dates.

The full moon on January 31st was also an eclipse/blood moon, visible over the western side of North America. A second eclipse/blood moon will take place later this year, on July 27th, but this time it will be visible over the UK and parts of Europe.

It is interesting to consider that of the two blood moons, one was visible over America, and the other will be visible here in Britain. From our Identity stand point, these two countries are representative of the two brother nations of Manasseh and Ephraim – the sons of Joseph.

Just recently it was announced that the President of the United States, Donald Trump, will visit Britain this year. The date given is Friday 13th. (And incidentally there are two “Friday 13th” in 2018, the first having been in April. Superstitious people will no doubt be shaking their heads and thinking … “oh dear, Friday 13th…”! However, this is a visit of ‘brother’ Manasseh to Ephraim, and the number 13 is very much attached to the United States of America.

J.H. Allen, in his book “Judah’s Sceptre and Joseph’s Birthright”, tells us; “Since there are thirteen tribes in Israel, and since Ephraim and Manasseh were adopted after all the rest were born, and Ephraim is counted for Joseph, or rather that they are counted interchangeably, there is no other chance for Manasseh, numerically speaking, but that he is number 13 And that when Manasseh separated from Ephraim – he, Manasseh, or America, had just 13 states, and that thirteen is the prominent number in all the emblems and heraldry of the land.”

In fact, the first national flag of the original United States had 13 stars and 13 bars. In the Great Seal of America, the Eagle is holding, in the ‘Dexter’ talon, an Olive Branch, and in the ‘Sinister’ talon, a bundle of 13 Arrows. The Shield or Escutcheon, which is borne on the breast of the Spread Eagle, has 13 pieces called pales, or pale ways. These 13 pale ways are united by one at the top. And on the reverse of the Great Seal of America is a 13 lettered motto; “Annuit Coeptis” – “He (the Lord) hath prospered our undertakings.”

So, we see that the number 13 and America go hand in hand (and for more depth of these symbols I recommend you read J.H. Allen’s excellent book). Not that President Trump would have been particularly put off by such a date in any case…!

Staying with the number thirteen, and crossing over the Atlantic Ocean to Britain – which is what Mr Trump will be doing when he comes to visit (all being well…), we should also take into account that our Prime Minister here in the UK, Mrs. Theresa May, became our Prime Minister on July 13th, 2016, and she is also our Queen’s 13th PM. So, it looks like we have thirteens all over the place!

Mrs. May is Britain’s second female Prime Minister – our first was Margaret Thatcher. her birthday was on October 13th, and she died in 2013. And the year 2013 was quite remarkable with two prominent double events – it was the year of the two Popes, and the two asteroids (of the asteroids, one was expected in the evening – to skim past the Earth safely – this it did, but before that, in the morning, one appeared from nowhere, and crashed to the earth, taking the Russian town of Chelyabinsk – and the world – by surprise).

The number thirteen is considered the number of Rebellion, and the number of Substitution and Atonement. Dr Bullinger in his book; Number in Scripture tells us The Saviour, though without sin, was ‘made sin’ or a sin offering, for His people. He was ‘wounded for our transgressions, and bruised with our iniquities. He was, in fact Numbered with the Transgressors’. He also compares and contrasts 13 with 8 which he surmises is “…associated with Resurrection and Regeneration – and the beginning of a new era or order. Eight is the Domical Number – everywhere it has to do with the LORD. It is the Number of His Name; Jesus = 888.”

In “The Language of Numbers” recently reprinted by The Covenant Publishing Company, the author rather beautifully describes the combination of eight and thirteen (which they agree signifies atonement) “…like two threads – gold and crimson – which run through the whole of Divine revelation, continually crossing and re-crossing each other.”

Over recent times, and more so as each year passes, we are seeing combinations of doubles, and combinations of events that link up with each other – both here on Earth, and up in the Heavens. So many that it would be foolish to put it all down to coincidence. There is undoubtedly a Higher Force at work, all that is being played out in our world now is destiny unfolding. There are many surprises in store – some good, but, as we know full well, much that will be quite terrifying. But, ultimately the Lord is in control, and all who come to Him will indeed be comforted.

As it says in Roman’s 13:11-12; —”And knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.”

God is calling out to His people in so many ways, to turn back to Him now. Ephraim and Manasseh, listen to His words, for the night is indeed, far spent, and the day IS at hand.
