Preach the Word
When an enquiry as to timing was made of the man in the midst of the waters, (Daniel 12:7) the man said the events would be finished when the power of the holy people was scattered. The prophet Daniel did not quite understand this, so he questioned the man (said to be the pre-incarnate Christ) by saying, “O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things”. But, he was told to go his way, for the “words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end”.
Well, in a previous article, I suggested that the time of the end was reached after 6,000 lunar years or in the early years of the 1800’s. From that point onward, we have witnessed a progressive unfolding of events through prophecy and we now stand at the threshold of the very end of the age. We have most certainly lost control of our lands and when you look at the world today and our declining influence, the growth of power in non-Israelite nations, our financial bondage and the identities of those who appear to have the upper hand over ordinary Christians in the true Israel lands, you might come to the conclusion, that indeed, the power of the holy people has surely been scattered.
And you might agree with the four points of Daniel 12:10, which certainly depict the times in which we live. Jesus said, (1) Many will purify, and cleanse, and refine themselves, (2) the rebellious will do wicked (3) But none of the wicked will understand and (4) Yet, those that are wise (studious ones) shall understand.
Today, we can see points (2) and (3) very clearly. The KJV words (2) as “the wicked shall do wickedly” and when you look at the bulk of the leadership of our Israel nations, you see men and women who are so caught up with greed and power, that they are capable of the unthinkable. Some profess to be Christians, but this is suspect. In any event, even if they were to read this verse in Daniel, they wouldn’t have understanding.
As you read Daniel 12 in totality, you realize that we are indeed at the end of the days, as Daniel was told in verse 13.
In the early 2000’s, I penned an article suggesting that 2003 was the beginning of judgment on the Israel nations, and later we learned that by going to war with Iraq, without firm evidence of their involvement in 911 or that they possessed weapons of mass destruction, would trigger that judgment. And let’s face it! What that war did was to awake the radical forces in the Mid-East and create such chaos in that area of the world that millions of its citizens were forced to flee to other lands, mainly to the nations of True Israel and other nations in Europe; welcomed by leaders who have shut their eyes to the change it will bring to once Christian nations. Already the radical mix in those millions of migrants have created great chaos in our homelands, the Feb 3rd “Bloody Battle of Calais” just being the latest example.
Jesus Christ told us what we will be facing (Matthew 24) but more than a century earlier, the prophet Ezekiel described some pretty tumultuous conditions. He was obviously referring to conditions preceding the Second Coming because five times, he said the end has come, once he said the time is come, once the day is come. He pointed out that violence “is risen up into a rod of wickedness” and in Ezekiel 7:23, he makes it clear that the land will be full of bloody crimes, and the cities full of violence. Not too pretty, but God imparted to him that these chaotic conditions are brought upon Israel as retribution for our abominations and as a result, we shall know that He is God indeed.
Let’s face it, as much as we would like to avoid it, the people of the Israel nations need a good spanking to bring us to our senses and the cause of that spanking is made very clear in Ezekiel 7:4, “And mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity: But I will recompense thy ways upon thee, and thy abominations shall be in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I am the Lord”. It’s very likely that Ezekiel outlines the severe punishment prophesied in Ezekiel 38, when Gog and his allies think an evil thought and come against North America.
Now, that’s the bad news! But, here’s the good! When True Israel is beaten down far enough, our people will seek the Lord, Hosea 5:15 tells us this and then, as Ezekiel 39 and other Bible passages tell us, the Lord will come out of His place to save us and heal our lands. The sad aspect is how many of our friends and fellow countrymen will succumb before coming under the Blood of Christ and losing the opportunity of being in that 1,000-year Millennium.
Let me first go back to my comment about the beginning of the Iraq war. It began on March 20th, 2003, 15 years ago this month, one prophetic hour. What does Revelation 18:10 say about Mystery Babylon, “…for in one hour is thy judgment come”. So, the question is, could we see a North Korean or Mid-East episode or an economic collapse this year that could bring about severe punishment on True Israel, followed by the beautiful rescue when God says, “…. They shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I am the Lord, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hand of those that served themselves of them”. What a wonderful day that will be.
Right now, we have a responsibility to reach as many as our fellow Israelites as possible. But, you might say, “How”. Well, the Apostle Paul gives us the answer. After describing the perilous times to Timothy (2 Timothy 3:), he then tells Timothy (and of course – us) in Chapter 4 “I charge you therefore before; God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom – Preach the Word …” We can do this through our associations but each of us individually must take every opportunity to be teachers. We will often be rebuffed but we do have the obligation to sow the seed and let God do the rest. As Paul warned in verses 4&5, most will turn away from the truth, but we must continue to do the work of evangelists.
If we do, then perhaps we can ultimately say, as the Apostle Paul said, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith”.
