Can These Bones Live?

In the thirty-seventh chapter of Ezekiel we read of the vision of Ezekiel of the Valley of Dry Bones. The Lord Himself had carried the prophet in the spirit to this great valley that was littered with a multitude of dry and withered bones and then asked the question, “Can these bones live?” This vision and prophecy is about the restoration of the people of Israel. In this short article, I would like to see if we can find a correlation between Ezekiel’s vision and today’s world affairs. “The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the Spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of dry bones, and caused me to pass by them round about; and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.” (Eze. 37:1,2) The open valley that Ezekiel is taken to, and sees here represents the World, especially that part of the World that is known and referred to as the Christian West, and the many very dry bones represents the Spiritually dead Israelite Christians, the progeny of Jacob-Israel. These people are not only Spiritually blind, they have allowed Spiritually corrupt leaders, Pastors, Shepherds, to lead them down a primrose path of deception in matters pertaining to Holy Writ, which has caused them to lose sight of their God and their identity as Christians and Israelites.

“And He said unto me, Son of Man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest.” (Eze. 37:3) Ezekiel here give the right answer for he realized that only a miracle from God could revive these bones. Ezekiel was then commanded to prophesy unto those very dry bones and hear the word of the Lord. In order to hear the word of the Lord today we must study and become well versed in His Holy Word, the Bible, for only there can we find the pathway that leads us back to God. “So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I prophesied, there was a noise and, behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to its bone. And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them above, but there was no breath in them. Then he said unto me, prophesy unto the wind, Son of Man, and say to the wind thus saith the Lord God; come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceeding great army.” (Eze. 37:7-10)

When we look at what is going on in Europe, with the English Brexit and the Nationalist movements in Britain, France, Holland and Germany, etc. we can see a definite shaking going on, and an awakening of some sort toward National awareness. Now, I know that these movements are politically motivated, but the driving force behind all this seems to be the conservative Christian Right. People are saying enough is enough, they are fed up with the status quo and the lies and the humanistic, Communist and Zionist protocol of One Worldism, a virtual Tower of Babel. In the US, for instance, during the election Donald Trump collected more than 81% of the white Christian Conservative votes, a clear sign that we are moving in the right direction. The great army of the Lord our God is waking up and is starting to move. The only thing that is lacking just yet is the Spirit of the Lord, but that is only a matter of time and that also is in the Lord’s hand.

“Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts. Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.” (Eze. 37:11,12) The graves mentioned in Vs. 12 are not the individual burial places of the deceased, but are instead the Spiritual dead, morally corrupt sepulchres that all the Christian nations have changed into. Nations where immorality is rampant, nations where sodomy is lauded as an alternative lifestyle, nations that condone infanticide, nations that have totally rejected their heritage and culture, where the people have forgotten who and what they are, namely the children of the Living God. “And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves, And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.” (Eze. 37:13,14)

O, yes, there is definitely some shaking going on, the Spiritually dead are waking up, they are reclaiming their identity and heritage, they are slowly starting to remember who and what they are. It is and will be a slow process, but it is happening, and as it is happening the Lord God will eventually restore His Spirit amongst and within His people and restore them to their lands, or rather restore them in their Lands. The land here mentioned is not Old Canaan land as some seem to think, but the lands that we as Israelites were born in, as per prophecy of 2 Sam. 7:10. It is only then that God’s Kingdom can and will be established here on earth. May that day come quickly!
